Volunteers Pose For Nude Photoshoot On Australian beach To Raise Skin Cancer Awareness!
Photographer Spencer Tunick is known for arranging mass bare photographs takes shots at world milestones.Approximately 2,500 individuals removed their garments on Saturday to posture for U.S. visual craftsman Spencer Tunick at Sydney's Bondi Ocean side with an end goal to bring issues to light about skin disease.
Tunick, known for organizing mass bare photographs taking shots at world milestones, utilized a bull horn to coordinate participants into a few postures near the ocean before many took an exposed dunk in the sea.
The New York-based craftsman teamed up with a foundation on the stripped workmanship establishment in a bid to bring issues to light about melanoma, Australia's fourth most normal type of malignant growth.
The installation was American photographer Spencer Tunick's latest project, aimed at encouraging Australians to get regular skin checks.
Australia is the country in the world that is worst affected by skin cancer, the World Cancer Research Fund says, as reported by the BBC.
The art installation was done in collaboration with the charity Skin Check Champions during skin cancer awareness week.
"Skin cancer
"Skin cancer is the world’s most common cancer. Every year, over 1.3 million people are diagnosed with it. Killing over 125,000. Sadly, these deaths are predicted to rise by 20% in the next few years, unless we do big brave things to stop it," he explained. "Hopefully my recent photographs with the inclusion of many skin cancer survivors will remind people of the fragility of life and the importance of skin checks."
Tunick has also been personally affected by the disease, explaining that a family member recently had precancerous skin removed, catching it in time.

Bruce Fisher, 77, who participated in the event, told : "I've spent half my life in the sun and had a couple of malignant melanomas taken off my back. "I thought this was a good cause and I love taking my clothes off on Bondi Beach."
O my gosh!
